Review of Canva for Education

 Application Overview  Canva for Education

Purpose/why: The purpose for Canva for Education is to create engaging and visually appealing lesson plans for students. There are also educational activities that can be run through Canva as well.

Demonstration/example: An example of a teacher using Canva could be a teacher making an assignment for students to create their own digital poster for some topic that they are covering. Students could do their own research and use their creativity to create this poster while learning.

Strengths: Canva has a lot of great uses. It allows students and teachers to create things like storyboards and posters. Canva can also be used by teachers to create lesson plans and run classroom activities. Canva is great for creative people. There is a lot of opportunities to create on Canva.

Weaknesses: Canva is great overall, but it does have a few shortfalls. It does not have much for advanced editing options like some applications like Adobe. Another weakness of Canva is that it almost always requires internet access, which can be a problem for some.

Recommendation: Overall, I recommend Canva. I have used it very minimally, but in my experience it has worked well. I think that this is a very useful tool for students and teachers. It can be used in many different applications, which makes it valuable. It is also free which is a bonus.
